Home Housing have a scheme to build 17 "affordable" houses for sale to qualifying low income buyers on the public open space associated with Grayson Heights. Purchasers might buy only a part of the property and rent the remainder, but would only be able to sell to another 'low income' family at controlled prices. This scheme has not pleased the majority of local residents, who would prefer to keep the land for informal recreation and childrens play.
